The Consultants provided by HCR are some of the most knowledgeable and respected professionals in the HIM Industry. Before joining the HCR coding team each consultant must successfully complete a comprehensive coding test. We also provide reference screenings for those who qualify after the testing procedure and for anyone considered for Interim Management.

On average each of our Consultants has better than fifteen years of HIM experience. Their experience includes Coding, Management and Education in all venues of healthcare such as hospitals, healthcare corporations, physician practices, and consulting firms and for HIM programs in colleges and universities.

Our Consultants hold degrees from Master’s level to Associate’s. Their credentials include: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC. Each Consultant must complete the required continuing education and maintain valid credentials to continue working with HCR.
